Super Easy Crispy Chile Rellenos

12 egg roll wrappers 12 whole green chiles 3 cups shredded cheese Vegetable or canola oil

The secret to easy crispy rellenos!

(From a can)

Monterey Jack, Cheddar or Mexican Blend

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean work surface.

Open a green Chile and lay it in the center of the egg roll wrapper.

Pile shredded cheese over the Chile and moisten the edges of the egg roll wrapper with water.

Fold one side of the egg roll wrapper over the Chile and cheese.

Fold the bottom corner up towards the center of the Chile.

Fold the other side of the wrapper over the Chile.

Fold the top corner of the egg roll wrapper down to form a little packet.

Add vegetable oil to a pan and heat to 325 degrees (F). Add the rellenos.

Let them cook on one side until golden, then turn them over and let them cook on the other side.

Let the rellenos drain on paper towels, then pile them onto plates.

Serve smothered with green chili. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
