How to Make Whole Roasted Celery Root {Celeriac}

Thoroughly scrub the outside of the celery root.

After washing, pat the celery root dry.

Set the celery root on a piece of foil, drizzle with olive oil...

... and sprinkle all sides with salt.

Wrap the foil around the celery root to enclose it.

Roast at 375 degrees for 2 - 3 hours, until soft and caramelized.

Open carefully and let stand until cool enough to handle.

Set the celery root on a cutting board...

... and trim the ends.

The celery root is now ready to eat or use in any recipe.
